Russian delegation to explore business opportunities in Ghana

Ho, March 18, GNA - A delegation of Russian businessmen and scientists is expected in the country on March 25, this year, for a 10-day visit, to explore business and investment opportunities. The team to be led by Russian born Ghanaian, Professor Sergey Phanuelyevich Kotov-Dartey, would open a branch of Dartey Consulting International (DCI) in Ghana, to pursue business activities as defined by the country's trade and industrial policies.

These were contained in a brief signed by Professor Kotov-Dartey and made available to the Ghana News Agency in Ho by a Ghanaian representative of the group.

Prof Kotov-Dartey said the DCI looked forward to working towards creating 93a buoyant and self-sustaining export sector of the economy." In this regard, the DCI would help promote 93the establishment of new industrial capacities, mobilization of investment and new technologies in food and agro-based industries, forest industries, building and construction".

Other areas to engage the attention of the DCI included electrical and electronic industries, textile and leather, energy and environment.

The schedule of the team would include meetings with some businessmen, scientists and government officials.
