One of the leading mobile and internet value added service provider in the country, SMS GH, is preparing to extend its operations to Nigeria and Kenya. The move according to the company is aimed at broadening operations in order to offer quality telecom value added services to other African countries following the successes chalked in Ghana.

At a rebranding event dubbed 'rethink' held at the M Plaza hotel in Accra, Chief Marketing Manager of SMS GH, David Coleman revealed that the company hopes that the rebranding of the company puts it in pole position to effectively execute this task.

‘We have gotten to the point where we want to rebrand our operations and enhance our services to our clients. The name smsgh limits us to Ghana, so the rebranding package includes changing the name.’

A celebrated technology innovator and owner of Corenett Ghana, Micheal Amankwah, who was guest speaker at the ceremony urged entrepreneurs and business owners to begin to reconsider ways of staying relevant in the business space adding that 'diversifying' is a sure option worthy of consideration.

SMSGH’s most popular products currently are MYtxtBOX, Jumpfon and MPower Payments.

MYtxtBOX is a bulk SMS service that enables mainly small businesses to engage with their clients by creating a customized short code through which bulk messages are sent out to clients and prospective clients.
