The Sekyere Rural Bank has been selected for international award for quality services and strong performance, Mr. Joseph Sarfo-Agyei, the Board Chairman, has announced.
It would be picking the Platinum at this year’s International Arch of Europe Award for Quality and Excellence to be held in Frankfurt, Germany.
The presentation ceremony would take place on the 26th and 27th of April.
This is the second time in three years that the bank has been honoured through international recognition, having earlier won gold for quality at a similar event held in Switzerland in year 2012.
Mr. Sarfo-Agyei, who was speaking at the opening of the Dr. Mensah branch of the Bank in Kumasi, said the achievement would only inspire them to work with zeal to meet the expectation of its customers.
They were determined to stick with the best practices to make it a leader in the rural banking industry.
The new branch brings to nine the number of branches it has been operating - Jamasi, Agona, Ntonso, Mamponteng, Ahwiaa, Afrancho, Kronom and Abrepo Junction.
