Societe Generale Ghana introduces “KIT” package

Societe Generale Ghana, a banking institution, has introduced a new product known as the “KIT” package.

The KIT, is a quick and easy way for customers to get solutions to their banking needs in one simple package with a single fee, as it bundles several basic banking products and services in its three types of packages known as the Easy, Flexi and Privilege KITs.

Mr Sionle Yeo, Managing Director of Societe Generale Ghana, at the press announcement of the product, said the KIT would be launched and available in all branches of the Bank from Monday, February 1, 2016.

The product, he explained, was designed to make banking simpler and better to customers with regard to payments, protection, savings or a 24/7 account information in one convenient and competitive offer.

He said the current product and those launched in previous years, attested to the Bank’s commitment to get a step further by offering its customers fantastic banking products.

Mr Francios Marchal, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, said the introduction of the KIT, fits perfectly into the strategy of the Bank to be more customer-centric, as it gives customers a simple, easy and fuss-free way to select what they want from their branches.

Mr Fredrick Addy, Head of Marketing Analytics, said the product was created to streamline the processes by which customers select and use each of the Bank’s products and services, “this means that KIT will now make it easy and simple for customers to get what they need and at a cheaper cost”.

He said the Easy Kit offer, which can be subscribed by both salaried and non-salaried workers, comes with a current and savings account, an Express Card, Sikanet, Sikatext and Sikatel all in one bundle, as well as access to free ATM withdrawals for all operations made on the Bank’s ATM across the country.

The Flexi Kit on the other hand offers customers a with current account, a Smart Saver account that has inbuilt personal accident insurance cover, an Express Card, Sikanet, Sikatext and Sikatel as well as free ATM withdrawals for operations with the Bank, and also a choice to receive a Flexi Overdraft of up to GHC 1,500.00 depending on their salaries.

The Privilege Kit comes with a current account, Super Saver, Gold Card, which provides a travel insurance cover in addition to Sikanet, Sikatel , Sikatext and Card Protection

Insurance and Sound Cash, free ATM withdrawals on the Bank’s ATMs and a choice to receive a Privilege Overdraft facility of up to GH¢15,000.00.

Mr Addy said bank charges on the various products ranges from GH¢15.00 for the Easy, GH¢18.00 for the Flexi and GH¢25.00 for the Privileged KITs respectively, and called on both new and existing customers, to sign on by filling forms at any branch office of the Bank nationwide in order to enjoy the numerous benefits of these and other products available.
