Societe Generale Ghana Bank officially outdoored three of its renovated Branches in Kumasi to Customers on Saturday 6th May 2017. These were the Kumasi Central, Adum and Suame Branches.

The event gave customers a chance to experience, first hand, all the new features that had been added to these Branches and also interact with the top Management of the Bank.

The Bank embarked on an in-depth ‘Transformation Programme’ in 2015 with the ultimate aim of improving on its quality of service and enhancing customer experience. These newly renovated Branches are evidence of the changing structure and culture of Societe Generale Ghana. These Branches conform to the new layout structure with commercial spaces that will be a standard for all the Bank’s branches.

The renovated Branches provide a comfortable and convivial banking hall with a Welcome Desk, an Automatic Queue Management System dispensing tickets to the customers and equipped with well animated video-displays, a Privilege Lounge for the affluent customers providing a dedicated teller point, a Digital Corner accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week with tablets to access the e-banking, IP phones to access the Contact Centre and new Generation ATMs.

Welcoming the guests at the event for the renovated Adum Branch, the Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Sionle Yeo stated that, “It wasn’t just the orientation of the structure that has been upgraded for easy customer service and more comfort, but also the services. There is now better turnaround time, more efficiency in claims management and as always, we continue to have the best loan offer on the market”. Mr. Yeo spoke also on the latest innovation from the Bank, which is a new Mobile Branch.

Societe Generale Ghana’s Mobile Bank now delivers the Bank’s services to the doorstep of institutions through the use of a dedicated and specially equipped van. This Mobile Bank together with dedicated Sales Team provide customers with information on products and services of the Bank, undertake various banking operations and give access to a fully functioning on boarded ATM. Mr. Yeo assured customers that this innovative service will be coming to Kumasi soon.

Speaking on the strategy of the Bank and other key innovations planned for 2017 at the renovated Kumasi Central Branch, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Francois Marchal said, “This Transformation Programme and the now visible proof of the promises the Bank made is as a result of the direction agreed in consultation with our teams and including customer feedback. Clearly, customers can now identify with the Bank’s intention to become in Ghana “The relationship focused bank chosen for the quality of its services and the professionalism of its teams”.

On the upcoming projects for 2017, Mr. Marchal stated that, “The Bank is poised to offer customers even more this year. Indeed, going forward in 2017, the Bank will provide customers with innovative solutions in terms of Mobile Money and Mobile Payment services, together with a unique Digital Banking offer”. He assured customers that they will soon be invited to the official launch of this globally differentiating offer.
