Stock index slips in another poor trading

Accra, Nov. 8, GNA - The Accra bourse recorded another poor trading on Monday as it continued to fight bearish sentiments. The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, was down by 0.85 points to 6,897.29 points from Friday's close of 6,896.44 points. There was only one price change, a rare 10-cedi gain by CFAO at 190 cedis.

Change for the year was down at 94.10 per cent from Friday's close of 94.14 per cent.

Total shares traded remained low at 95,400, although slightly better than 83,600 shares recorded last Friday.

Market capitalization ended at 97,246.86 billion cedis from 3,580.79 million issued shares.
