Stock indices continue to fall

Accra, July 18, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange share prices closed lower at 33.42 points, pulled down by a 570-cedi loss by CAL Bank Limited.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, fell to close at 5,257.02 points compared to 5,290.44 points on Monday.

Change for the year-to-date stands at -22.67 per cent.

On the broader market CAL Bank lost 570 cedis to close at 2,430 cedis. Shares traded were up at 147,400 from a low of 55,000 shares on Monday.

Market capitalisation went down at 92,920.96 billion cedis from 93,009.37 billion cedis from 3,400.54 million issued shares.
