Supra Telecom presents fire tender to Government

Accra, April 13, GNA - The Management of Supra Telecom, a US based Telephone Customer Service Centre on Tuesday presented a 200,000 dollars fire tender to the Government at the Castle, Osu.

Mr Kaye Ramos, Founder of the Company, who made the presentation, commended the Government for its tremendous support to the Company. He said with such corporate support, the Company had planned to increase its current workforce of 252 to about 600 to 800 by the end of the year and further increase it to 1,000 by March 2005.

Mr Ramos, who earlier paid a courtesy call on President John Agyekum Kufuor, pledged to promote Ghana to other corporate institutions in the US to invest in Ghana.

Mr Kwadwo Mpiani, Chief of Staff, who received the documents on the tender expressed Government's appreciation to the Company and asked them to be good corporate citizens of Ghana.

He later handed over the documents and tender to Mr Christian Joseph Quaicoe, Divisional Chief Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in-charge of Fire Prevention Section at the Castle and Castle Annex.
