Accra, Dec. 15, GNA - Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of Tigo, on Monday rolled out a new promotion campaign dubbed; "Top up and Win" to make its subscribers more "expressive" this Christmas season. The promotion which began on Monday, aims at offering subscribers opportunities to be expressive and vibrant through voice calls and/or text messages as well as win prizes.
Qualification for the promotion is that each pre-paid subscriber who recharges with GH¢ 1.00 is automatically entitled to win prizes which include bonus on top ups, free text messages, free extreme value subscriptions, Ipods and a brand new 2008 model Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is the grand prize to be won at the end of the promotion. Ms Anita Erskine, Corporate Affairs Manager of Millicom Ghana Limited, who announced the package in Accra, said TIGO continued to remain committed to satisfying increasing demands for an even more extensive variation of mobile services by its loyal subscribers and the entire society at large.
Ms Erskine said TIGO's promotions had always been designed with subscribers in mind and also to make them express themselves in whichever way they like.
She hinted that the company had in store various promotions to be rolled out in 2009 to ensure that its subscribers felt satisfied even the more.
Mr Frederick Quainoo, Marketing Manager of the company, advised subscribers to always wait for a call from TIGO to confirm whether or not they won prizes or seek confirmation from TIGO offices so as not to fall victim to miscreants parading as TIGO officials. He announced that the company had opened more offices nationwide to cater for the needs of the customers.
Meanwhile the "Top up and Win" promotion which ends on the December 29, will run concurrently with all other promotions of the company.
