With just about a month to close, customers of Tasty Tom Enriched Tomato Mix continue to record astounding winnings in the nationwide ‘Gye Wo Sika’ promotion.

Since the launch of the ‘Gye Wo Sika’ promotion three months ago, customers – mostly housewives, restaurant and chop bar operators, food vendors, schools and private caterers – have enjoyed a streak of cash winnings, ranging from GHC2.00 to as high as GHC10,000.

‘Gye Wo Sika’ is a nationwide promotion in which prizes to be won are imprinted under the lid of the 2.2kg cans and are redeemable at the nearest distributor point or through a toll-free line (0556638794).

The promotion was launched in December last year to show appreciation to the brand’s customers across the country and reward them for their loyalty with cash prizes.

“I have been using Tasty Tom for nearly 10 years now and I don’t need anyone to tell me that it is the best tomato mix – especially for jollof rice,” said trader Comfort Badu, an avowed non-believer in promotions, who had just won and redeemed GHC1,000 from a single purchase.

Poncho, a restaurant operator based in Kumasi, said he has used Tasty Tom for 12 years.

“I don’t know what they did to it but it is even better now than before. My customers love it and I will stick to it forever. I urge every serious food vendors to go for Tasty Tom.”

Produced by Nutrifoods Ghana Limited, a joint venture between Olam and Sanyo Foods, Tasty Tom Tomato Mix ranks among the leading brands in the Ghana market.

In 2015, after extensive consumer and market research, the product was redeveloped to meet the needs of consumers.

“Your Tasty Tom Tomato mix is highly enriched with vitamins A D E and K, essential for ensuring good eyesight, boost immunity and enable muscular growth. It has also been fortified with fibre to improve digestion and give our consumers full value for their money,” said Dinah Adu-Asare, Brand Manager for Tasty Tom Tomato Mix.

She said the rate at which customers are winning prizes confirms the popularity of Tasty Tom as the preferred tomato mix, adding that the objective of rewarding the brand’s customers has largely been met.

The promotion continues nationwide until the end of March 2018.
