Tension is brewing at the Albert Bosomtwe-Sam fishing harbour in the Western region over the supply of premix fuel to a site at Ekru.
According to secretary to the chief Fisherman of the Sekondi landing Beach committee, Nana Prah, the said landing site does not qualify to be supplied following the revised premix fuel guidelines.
Nana Prah is accusing the national premix chairman, Kweku Sessah-Johnson of being behind the supply.
He argued that the said supply is creating unnecessary tension among fisherman.
The Sekondi fishing harbour has for the past five years been characterised with ligation over the legitimate Chief fisherman between Sekondi and Essikado fishermen.
