The Electricity Company of Ghana has denied reports making rounds on various social media platforms that the company will be embarking on a data migration exercise which will affect prepaid credit purchase.

According the Ghana’s biggest power supplier, the information stating that ECG will transfer its data from an old server to a new one between 18th to 19th November 2017, is not coming from their outfit.

It has therefore called on the public to disregard such information.

In a statement ECG called on its clients to verify every information attributed to their outfit from the company’s website.

"Customers are to note that, when such announcements are officially made, it will be opposed on the ECG Website (www.ecggh.com), on its social media handles, in print media, radio and on tv." The statement noted.
