Traders express mixed feelings over Christmas sales

It is three days to Christmas and not all traders around Tudu are happy with their sales a Ghana News Agency (GNA) Christmas market monitoring survey, has revealed.

At the the Tudu market some traders expressed delight at the smooth sales of their wares as the Christmas season drew nearer.

Maame Lizzy Assan, a trader in Christmas souvenirs, said business had been good since last week Saturday as consumers kept trooping in for Christmas decorations, hats and trees.

Mr Samuel Asare, a dealer in travelling bags, however, said business was not too good and expressed the hope that sales would change for the better in the days ahead.

Mama Ajorkor, a trader, appealed to the AMA Task Force, popularly known as "Abayie" not to harass the traders but permit them to make their sales before the end of the Yuletide.
