Customers and Shareholders of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Cooperative Credit Union have applauded Managers of the Union for its high sense of duty and honesty towards its clients.

They made the commendation at separate forums organised at Ajumako, Winneba and Senya to educate members on the various banking procedures and benefits, including; qualification for loan acquisition.

The participants at the various meetings expressed delight that since joining the Union some five years ago, management had proven beyond all reasonable doubt that it would swindle its members.

Mrs Christina Keelson, the General Manager of the Credit Union urged the clients to use loans they took to support their children’s education and expand their businesses for the intended purposes and also paid promptly to keep the Credit Union in business.

She stated that loans were not gifts or bonuses, but were to make life meaningful to people who patronised their services.

Mrs Keelson assured them of the Unions continuous commitment to offer fruitful and reliable services to all costumers especially to those who paid their loans at the right time and also called on them to patronise their new product (Loan for farming, children’s education as well as group loans).

She encouraged the members to make regular savings for future productive purposes adding that the UEW Credit Union will continue to build unshakable and good structures to secure its assets and finances for the benefits of its numerous clientele.
