UT Bank Ghana Limited has held the first in the series of the “UT 100 for 100 Promo Draws” in Kumasi, with management promising to deepen customer relations.
Mr Rami Baitie, Corporate Affairs Manager, said customer care is one of the strategic objectives of the institution and the Bank would not relent in its efforts to understand the needs of customers for satisfying services.
Speaking to Ghana News Agency, on the sidelines of the event, he said the Bank which commenced business as a finance house in 1997, has evolved from a lending company to a publicly-owned universal bank, positioning itself as the leading bank in small scale and medium enterprises banking over the years.
The draw saw the winner taking home a cash prize of GH¢ 10,000.00, while the second prize winner received a refrigerator, and the third place winner had a television set.
The fourth place winner received a microwave with all those placing fifth to the tenth position each receiving a Samsung S4 phone.
Mr. Baitie said the draw stipulates that with every GH¢ 100.00 deposited in any of the Bank’s required accounts such as the Current, Savings and Koowa accounts, customers earn points which then qualify them to win varied prizes.
The more points earned, the higher the chances are for winning the prize packages.
The Corporate Affairs Manager said the programme was part of measures to encourage the culture of savings and also reward loyal customers.
