After breaking down in 2010, the Wa Fruit juice factory is expected to be reactivated to produce fruit drinks by close of September this year.

This was disclosed to newsmen by the management of Ndana Company limited, a company contracted by the Wa Municipal Assembly to manage the facility.

According to a member of the management, Gregory Lankono, they are working assiduously to ensure that the company is operational by the scheduled date of September.

He said the company will focus on producing fruit juices based on the fruits available per season.

Mr. Lankono added that the company will employ the best international standards in producing the best for the area.

On his part, the Municipal Chief Executive of Wa, Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha expressed joy at the rate at which the company is working to ensure the factory is reactivated.

He disclosed that the factory was built with collaboration from Ieper City in Belgium which has a sister-city relationship with the Wa Municipal Assembly in 2007. The company however came to a halt in 2010 due to lack of funds to run it.
