The King Solomon Group has launched its delivery service company called, Chariots Delivery, with a promise to rid the system of bad delivery services using technology that will allow customers track their products online.

The company has dedicated GHP10 of its profit on any delivery to the well-being of victims of road accident across the country.

Speaking at the launch on Friday, 3 August 2018 in Accra, Managing Director of the group, Mr Kaycey Ogbonna said: “We’ve noticed the growing trend in online business in Ghana, the need for delivery services in Ghana, we’ve also seen a lot of junk, a lot of people who are abusing the delivery system and we think that it’s high time we come in to set the trend and to take delivery to a different level.

“So, we thought that since it’s a delivery company, and we’ve to do with plying on our roads, and we have seen several major road accidents due to carelessness of riders, we think that there is the need to introduce a charity delivery company.

“What we mean by this is that Chariots Delivery Company, as we are beginning business, the delivery system is technology-driven, and we are going to focus on contributing or giving back to the society by setting aside GHP10 of every income that comes to Chariots Delivery.

“Through each of the delivery service that we render, this GHp10 will be deducted and put in a certain account donated after every year to the victims of road accidents. Not only that, Chariot Delivery is purely technology driven, we have seen the situation where people have given their items, very valuable items to delivery companies most of them not even registered, most of them not even licensed, and people manhandle these items, there are issues of theft and missing items. So I think it’s about time we come and clean up the system, so, we’re coming up with the delivery system that gives you the opportunity to track your delivery from onset.”

He noted that Chariots Delivery is driven by a fusion of technology and innovation, enabling the client to request delivery online and track the parcel via web and mobile application tools.

The company does not only make delivery within the country but across major cities in West Africa such as Lagos, Lome and Cotonou.
