Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has promised to reverse the unjustifiable revocation of licenses of banks if elected as president on December 7 elections.

Speaking at the NDC’s manifesto launch at the University of Education, Winneba, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, the former President said his new government will focus on addressing the economic turmoil and mistrust he claims have been caused by NPP policies.

“We will restore the licenses of institutions that were wrongfully collapsed by the NPP government,” Mahama said.

He also promised to investigate NPP government’s controversial Gold-for-Oil (G4O) programme.

“We will investigate the NPP’s opaque Gold for Oil program,” Mahama said.
