Zonda Tec Ghana Limited has unveiled the GWM Tank 300 vehicle, embodying a fusion of luxury and high performance. The launch event took place on June 25, 2024 in Accra's Airport Area, showcasing an impressive 4x4 marvel alongside the POER pickup.
Designed to conquer both on and off-road challenges, the GWM Tank 300 boasts cutting-edge technology and comfort features. It offers all-terrain mode selection, crawl control, and a robust 2.0T Petrol engine with 162kw/380nm torque, or a 2.0T HEV option delivering 255kw/648nm torque, paired with ZF 8AT or 9HAT transmission, respectively. Safety is also paramount with integrated side airbags and a high-strength body.
Standout features include 17" Alloy Wheels, a 12.3” Multimedia Touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 360 Around View Camera. Advanced driving aids include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Roof rails, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Brake.

Deputy Minister of Trade, Micheal Okyere Baafi on his part said the government will continue to adopt conducive policies aimed at boosting the Automotive Development Programme initiated under the Akufo-Addo administration.
"Government remains committed to the development of the automotive industry with the aim of creating jobs for the youth and enhancing capacity building," the deputy minister said.
He also commended Zonda Tec Ghana for the investments made towards boosting Ghana's automotive space over the years.
