He was a bonafide Dwaben/Juaben man from Nkwantanan in the heart of Dwaben town. That is where his mother was from. Akans are a matrilineal people and we trace our origins and identity from our mother's lineage or family.

Siaw's father too was a Dwaben man from Dwaben originally. The people of Akwasiho, presently located in Kwahu, eastern region of Ghana, are all from Dwaben and Dwaso(a sub-town of Dwaben) originally.

Akwwasiho, Twenedurase, Hweehwee and Danteng were all founded by Dwabens who settled in Kwahu.
