Enabling e-gates for Ghanaian citizens at the entry point of the KIA is welcome.
But the government should realise that not everyone has the Ghana card yet. New passports are also digital like the Ghana card. Why are they not emphasing the Passport rather than the card?
Please remember that any Ghanaian arriving at the airport would have used the passport to cross other borders and not the Ghana card.
I am of the opinion that the system must be flexible and allow either the passport or card. That is the way to introduce a better policy.
