  Please digitalize the whole payment system end to end. We don't need to go and buy already made software from another country, it can be built and maintained by a dedicated it company here in Ghana, this is the only way we can build a progressive industry. Also creat a cost estimation system to enable both shippers and exporters plan and do business accordingly which will eliminate most of the frustrations at the port.

  Shipping line charges are another corrupt charge at the port. We end up paying double since we pay from the country of origin and also pay in ghana as well. Even the refund for container should be digitalized and automated, you don't want importer going up and down for such things.
  We also need a digital platform for suggestions , reporting ill practices or a call centre for reporting corrupt and unlawful practices such a bribery and extortion at the port.
  We need to set a good standard at the port and ensure quality of service to both exporters and importers, so Ghana becomes one of the best in the world.
