A suspected armed robber was killed after being caught raping a victim's wife during a robbery in Asuoabena near Mankranso in the Ashanti Region.

The deceased, believed to be in his late 20s, was part of a gang of six armed robbers who attacked a cattle ranch, stole three cows, and then returned to commit the sexual assault.

Michael Adofoasa, the Assembly Member for the area, reported to OTEC News reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng that the incident took place on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Adofoasa explained that the gang had tied up their victims with rope, but one managed to free himself and caught the deceased in the act.

The ranch manager then used a cutlass to kill the suspect.

Police have requested the victims' assistance in their investigation.
