Alleged killer of the Senior Pastor of Central Assemblies of God Church in Tema, has shown little to no emotions while explaining to the police why he stabbed his uncle on Sunday.

The scandalous act took place at a time where the victim (Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado) was preparing to leave his inner office to the main church auditorium.

The prime suspect was arrested and handed over to the police when he attacked the pastor who died a few hours after being rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The 31-year-old who seems unrepentant said killing the pastor (his uncle) was part of his plan to avenge all the deaths the man of God has caused their family.

Narrating to the police he added, the head pastor constantly ‘wipes off’ at least a family member after every two days which has totally destroyed and emptied the family.

This was what ensued between the police and the suspect

Police: ideally I don’t support the killing of this suspect because we might end up writing a statement

Suspect: oh come out of it

Police: so you are happy you killed someone?

Suspect: so if someone was killing a member of the family after every two days? Come and see my house

Police: so it is the senior pastor you killed? Suspect: Yes my uncle

From the above conversation, the purported killer seems not to have regretted his actions after admitting to the crime.

Meanwhile, the Tema Regional Police Command says it has started investigations into the case and some witnesses have already given their statements.
