Ghanaian woman busted in Pakistan

LAHORE: Anti Narcotics Force Punjab (ANF) have seized a big quantity of fine quality heroin and arrested a Ghanaian woman and three other African nationals from Allama Iqbal International Airport in the Punjab metropolis.

A press release issued here on Saturday said, Force Commander of ANF Punjab Brig. Ashfaqul Rashid received secret information that some Africans were smuggling heroin to foreign countries.

On which ANF team started watching the persons and during the checking of their luggage recoverd packets of 290 grams heroin from a woman Mrs Yeboah Yaa of Ghana and arrested her.

The ANF force also arrested three other smugglers including Baranard Denis Sydney, Howell Denis belonging to South Africa and Uchenna Bende of Nigeria and recovered 289 capsules full of heroin weight 3275 grams from them. Seperate cases have been registered against them.
