The case of Johnson Kombian, the businessman and a farmer, who is being held for the death of two policemen in the Northern Region, was on Wednesday adjourned to July 10.
This was because the investigator, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hanson Gove, who was to be cross-examined by the defence counsel, is on a national assignment in the Northern Region.
Mrs. Marina Appiah Opare, Principal State Attorney, disclosed this to the Fast Track High Court hearing the case presided over by Mr. Justice Mustapha Habib Logoh.
Kombian and his accomplices, who are on the run, were alleged to have ambushed the three policemen.
Two of the policemen, Constables Prince Agyare and Owusu Frimpong died during the ambush.
Kombian has denied before a seven-member jury the charge of conspiracy, and two counts of killing the two police officers.
The court has remanded him.
