Accra-based GhOne Television is reporting on a mob action that has led to the death of a motorbike thief in the Central Region.

According to the report, the deceased, whose name was not given, picked an Okada from Agona Swedru to Agona Asafo.

However, upon reaching a very remote area, the passenger attacked the motor rider with a knife, poured pepper into his eyes, and sped off with his motorbike.

The Okada rider alerted his colleagues, who gave the alleged thief a wild chase and found him.

The alleged thief was captured and beaten until he died.

His mortal remains have since been deposited at the Agona Swedru Hospital morgue for preservation while the police continue their investigations.

Meanwhile, no arrest has been made yet.
