Police at Denu in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region have arrested 44-year old Pastor Felix Banfo for allegedly murdering 43-year old Evelyn Homawu for rituals.

The deceased whose body was discovered close to the home of the suspect was without arms, legs and other body parts according to police investigators who confirmed the incident to mynewsgh.com.

According to the husband of the deceased, Kwablah Wohoyi a native of Klikkor – Agbozome, his wife called from Taifa Burkina in Accra that she was on her way to visit her pastor at Aflao on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

After several hours of travel, her phone number could not be reached but when the said pastor Felix Banfo was contacted as to whether the woman had arrived, he responded with the negative raising suspicion.

A complaint was lodged with the Denu police leading to the arrest of Pastor Felix Banfo currently in detention.

 On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, police had information that a dead body has been dumped at an obscured corner at Mifetu Korpe/Viepe about 300 meters away from the pastor’s house.

 Police proceeded to the scene with the complainant Kwabena Wohoyi and suspect Felix Banfo where a female adult with her arms and legs were chopped off. The chest was also cut open with the body was lying supine position and in advance stage of decomposition.

Both the complainant and the suspect identified the deceased as Evelyn Homawu.

The decomposed body was photographed by a private photographer and deposited at Ketu South Municipal Hospital Aflao and will be transferred to Police Mortuary for an autopsy.
