Prosecuting, police Chief Inspector Daniel Martey told the court preside over by Mr Nicholas Mensah Abodakpi that, Kpogli demanded money from Master Charles Mensah Junior, a 16-year-old student of IPMC and a friend on July 7, this year at about 1300 hours. Chief Inspector Martey said they gave the accused 1,000 cedis, explaining to him that they were students, and did not have money. Accused, who then demanded for a mobile phone which the complainant and the friend did not have, pulled out a knife from his pocket and pointed it at complainant, who had hanged the MP3 player on the neck, he then removed it and bolted.
Complainant and the friend could not catch up with him, when they chased him and reported the incident to the police by giving a detailed description of the accused, which led to his arrest.
