Three persons have been arrested in connection with various acts of violence and for possessing offensive weapons at the delegates congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held at Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
Joseph Vorsah, Sule Olassisi Lassisi and John Ashlebisa are currently on police enquiry bail and are due for court any time this week.

The arrest of the three followed an investigation by a special investigation team at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to look into various acts of violence reported during the three-day congress of the NDC.
Joseph Vorsah is to be charged with assault on a public officer and possession of offensive weapons, while Sule is to face a charge of possessing offensive weapons.
John Ashlebisa is also being charged with assault on Prince Hamidu.A former Women?s Organiser of the NDC, Ms Frances Asiam, was, among other persons, assaulted during the Koforidua congress.
A medical report of her assault indicated swelling under her left eye and several cane marks on her back. Another woman, identified as Beatrice Newman, according to police sources, was also reported to have been assaulted and hospitalised.
It explained that the essence of the investigation and prosecution of the suspects was to drum home the point that no one could commit crime and go scot-free.
It said it was important for Ghanaians to appreciate the fact that diversity of opinion was the hallmark of democracy and stressed the need for all stakeholders to accept that fact.
