Three teenage girls remanded for alleged murder of 16-year-old JHS graduate

Three teenage girls have been remanded into police custody for allegedly killing 16-year-old Dennis Owusu Ansah, a Junior High School graduate who was set to begin Senior High School on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

The incident occurred on the night of Monday, November 4, 2024, during a disagreement while the girls were accompanying a friend home, as reported by citinewsroom.com.

Eyewitnesses claimed that the situation escalated when one of the girls pulled out a knife and stabbed Dennis in the rib, causing severe bleeding.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim's family is shocked by the incident and is calling for justice to be served.

The mother of the deceased, Stella Frimpong stated, "We went to Tweneboa Kodua (SHS) on Saturday, and we were told to report on Thursday. So, I beg the child has indeed passed, so please authorities should ensure that justice is served."
