The Germany Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has donated several items to the party as part of its contribution toward ensuring electoral victory in the upcoming December polls.

A short ceremony to officially hand over the assorted items took place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the party's headquarters in Adabraka. The items presented included footballs, jerseys, headpans, motorbikes, t-shirts, aprons, cutlasses, solar lamps, cloth, sanitary pads, and more.

Leading the Germany Branch delegation to present the items was Dr. Felix Yamoah, Chairman of the Branch.

Also present were the Second Vice Chair, Madam Nana Gyamfuah Kumanini; Branch Organiser, Dr. Nana Benyin Enninful; Women's Organiser, Madam Mary Ahenkan; and former Branch Women's Organiser, Nana Ama Serwaah, among others.

In handing over the items, Dr. Yamoah stated, “It is absolutely important for the NPP to break the eight to afford Dr. Bawumia the opportunity to provide Ghanaians with well-deserved leadership.” He highlighted the contributions of the Germany Branch to the party over the years. “We (Germany Branch) have always played our part in supporting the Party's agenda, and so this is just in keeping with tradition,” he said.

He further rallied Ghanaians to support Dr. Bawumia while expressing optimism about the Vice President's victory. “From the campaigns, it is very clear that the NPP is winning. We have done a lot of good things, and in Bawumia, we have a trusted pair of hands to continue from where President Nana Akufo-Addo left off,” the cardiologist-turned-politician affirmed.

Speaking to the media after the event, the Branch Organiser, Dr. Nana Benyin Enninful, remarked, “Our branch is simply performing its part in making history. Victory is beckoning for the NPP, and with a little more effort, we should make history,” the academic-turned-physicist said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the party, the Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Haruna Mohammed, thanked the Branch and underscored the significant contributions of the Germany Branch to the party. He assured the Branch that “...the items would be put to good and efficient use.”

“Over the years, the Party has noted all the support your Branch has been giving. We are very grateful,” he expressed, adding that “your efforts will be rewarded in due course.”

The gesture is part of several efforts undertaken by the Germany Branch, including the adoption of multiple constituencies, to assist the NPP in achieving an unprecedented electoral victory in the 2024 elections, culminating in a historic third term for the party.
