CPP Can?t Win 150 Seats ? U.K. Branch Chairman

The pronouncement by the Chairman of the Convention People?s Party, Dr Edmund Delle that the CPP will win 150 seats in parliament in the December Election has attracted laughter from political analyst and social commentators, some describing it as a ?pie in the sky?.

The second vice chairman of the CPP, Mike Eghan, has distanced himself from the chairman?s pronouncement. He declined comment when Peace FM contacted him. The chairman of the U.K branch of the CPP, Bright Oduro Kwarten speaking to Peace FM stated that, the wish of the National Chairman is out of proportion. He said, even though the CPP has a brighter chance of winning the December General Election, its difficult imaging winning 150 seats.

The CPP National Chairman told the ?Statesman a private newspaper? that the CPP will win 150 parliamentary seats in December. The CPP currently has only ONE seat in the 200 seats member parliament.
