Death of Dr. Phillip Hagan

PRESIDENT OF THE GHANAIAN DOCTORS AND DENTISTS ASSOCIATION OF UK. (GDDA-UK)
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 -- On behalf of the Ghanaian Doctors and Dentists Association of the UK (GDDA-UK) and friends and affiliates of GDDA-UK, I would like to extend my deepest shock and heartfelt sympathy to the Hagan family on the sudden and tragic death of the late Dr. Phillip Hagan, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist of the Southend University Hospital, Southend-on-sea, UK.
We are indeed saddened, by the terrible loss of Dr.Hagan and offer our most sincere condolences to her family and the department of obstetrics and gynaecology of Southend University Hospital. He was one of the hard working original executive members of the GDDA-UK who gave his valuable and family time and energy to make what GDDA-UK has become today. We are grateful for the lifelong dedication of a true public servant, a true friend and a generous human being.
Dr. Hagan was a close friend to many members of the GDDA-UK, a committed Christian, friendly to all his colleagues, a brilliant and incredibly intelligent obstetrician and gynaecologist and indeed a good humble human being. His vision, humanity and commitment as well as his remarkably kind and generous nature will be greatly missed. He will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with the Hagan family during this time of grief.
