FREETOWN-SPECIAL KIDDIES PARTY & TRADE FAIR TO MARK MARCH 6
The Ghana High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, H.E. Kabral Blay-Amihere will host a special party for children from selected schools in Freetown on Saturday March 5, 2005 as part of activities to mark Ghana's 48th Independence Anniversary.
Schools invited include the Milton Margai School for the Blind and the Freetown School for the Deaf. A number of the children invited were born on March 6.
In line with government's policy of promoting made-in-Ghana goods, drinks and other products from Ghana will be served at the party.
Activities marking this Independence Anniversary will be crowned with a Made-In-Ghana Goods Trade Fair from April 8-13, 2005. The Trade Fair, which is the third so far, is being organised by the Ghana High Commission in Freetown in collaboration with the Association of Ghana Industries and the Ghana Export Promotion Council. Last year's Trade Fair attracted 34 Ghana ian companies and succeeded in putting made-in-Ghana good on the Sierra Leone market.
