After Stars Inspirational Victory

A great moment for mother Ghana becoming a symbol of success in the world of soccer. This is the Black Stars second participation at the FIFA World Cup. On the heels of the Stars becoming the first African Country to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, The President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi heads to the “Big Apple” New York.
He is the Special Guest of Honor at the Chelsea FC Bronx’s First Annual Awards Night scheduled on Friday; September 11th, 2009. Also in attendance will be Honorable Helen Diane Foster - Council Member Of New York City District 16, Mr. Tommy Smyth, ESPN Senior TV Announcer. His Excellency; Joseph Ngminebayihi, Deputy Consul General, Ghana Missions, NY.
In an earlier interview with 3G Mr. Nyantakyi said he was excited about coming to New York to support the club on its maiden event. He had earlier spoken to officials from Chelsea about his upcoming trip to New York. This is an opportunity for soccer fans to come and celebrate the Black Stars’ victory with the President of Ghana's soccer body.
