Ghanaian Association of Westchester

The Ghanaian Association of Westchester, Inc. led by Mr.Ata Amoyaw ; President, in conjunction with Dr. Benjamin Dodoo; Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, New York Medical College, organized a Health Fair Expo for Ghanaians and friends of Ghana on Sunday, Nov. 9th at the Philipse Manor Hall, Yonkers, NY.

> The Free Health screenings @ the Fair included Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, Breast Exam, Immunization information, vision and more literature available in other areas related to health. This is the GAW and Dr. Dodoo's way of giving back to the community and making sure that everyone had themselves checked for better health. The event was well attended by a section of the Ghanaian community and also the Hispanic community and friends of Ghana. Kudos to Dr. Dodoo, Mr.Ata Amoyaw, and the Westchester government's own Union Representative, Mr. Kwabena Manu, also GAW PRO for thinking of such a great way of making a difference and educating ourselve! s about health matters.
