The Chamber has collaborated with the Ghana Nurses Association, which will conduct a free health screening at the shelter.

South West Women Working Together located at 6800 South Western is the hosting agency and the owner of the shelter. SWWT has requested that we share Ghanaian rites of passages with the residents of the shelter. The explanation of this sacred traditional ceremony will be explained and demonstrated by the Ghana Women of Prestige; slong with one of our local chiefs, Kwame Ampofo, of GUSACC

This event promises to be rewarding for all participating, both those who are volunteering and those who are receiving.
