Ghanaian Community Attends Malian Inauguration

0n the 4th December,2011, the Malian President Elect Mr.Diawara and his executives invited African Community Leaders to attend their inaugural ceremony.

The Ghanaian Community was presented by the Chairman James Asare Tano and the Vice Secretary Appiah Kubi. In attendance were the Malian Consular and Chinese Government officials. There were other Chinese business partners who attended the inauguration to show their solidarity towards African Community.

The program began with music interlude by the Malian Community women dressed in their traditional cloth. The women entreated the gathering with a typical proverbial Malian songs and dance which enthused the newly elected executives to dash out Chinese red currency to the amazement of the invitees. The song was in a Malian language but listening and looking at the gestures of the women one could deduce that it was about African unity. The women numbering about six took turns to sing and raise funds to defray the cost of the ceremony which is unusual in such occasions in China.

There were solidarity and goodwill messages from all the African Community Leaders. The Ghanaian Community Chairman ( James Asare Tano ) admonished his fellow Africans to be law abiding and always try as much as possible not to tarnish the image of Africa. Being the CEO of PRIME PRODUCTS INTERNATIONAL, manufacturer of building materials , he appealed to the African Business Community to trade among themselves since the profit goes back to Africa.

The Chinese were not left out and also spoke about the bilateral relationship between Africa and China and the Government willingness to assist African Business Community with enabling environment to do their business peacefully.

In other news, the Gongdong Province Government has allocated the African Business Community a market called GUANGDA AFRICA MARKET in Guangzhou. The Government has also liaised with African Community to set up a clinic named GOODLUCK CLINIC. At the moment, the clinic is recruiting African doctors and nurses who graduated from Chinese Medical Schools to work in the Clinic. This clinic is affiliated to Gongdong hospital and it is believe that all Africans residing in Guangzhou will now channel their medical cases there since the language barrier has been removed.

Ghanaian Community would like to inform all Ghanaians visiting China to be alert of miscreants and fake businessmen since the Chinese New Year is approaching.
