Toronto, Canada --The Ghanaian News (Canada), the versatile Community Newspaper published for the Ghanaian Communities in Canada celebrates 10 years of publishing during the Thanksgiving Weekend, October 6 and 7 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The 10-year Celebrations bash will be preceded by the eighth edition of the prestigious Annual Ghanaian-Canadian Community Achievement Awards Gala at which members of the Ghanaian-Canadian community who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavour in Canada will be presented and honoured.
The Awards Night will be held at the Heavens Banquet Hall, 1274 Martin Grove Road, Etobicoke, Ontario, south of Rexdale in Toronto. The Gala Dinner starts at 7.00 P.M and the Awards ceremony begins at 8.30 P.M. Admission is $40.00
The 10th Anniversary Celebrations will feature a special Gospel Extravaganza which will feature all the top Gospel musicians from the Ghanaian communities in Canada. There will be a special Guest appearance by Gospel musician Prophet Seth Frimpong from Ghana. The event takes place at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church Hall, 51 High Meadow Place/Signet near Finch & Hwy 400) in Toronto on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 6.00 P.M.
