Over 700 Ghanaians came from all over Europe, UK and USA into the city of Antwerp in Belgium, to pay their last respects to a lady described as 'a Mother' of the Ghanaian community there on saturday 13th August 2005.

The family of the late Madam Comfort Adjubi led by GHANABA President Mr. Kwaku Acheampong, the entire Ghanaian community in Antwerp led by Nana Ampadu and the Managing Director of King Solomon Trading bvba, a delegation from the Ghana Embassy led by the Deputy Ambassador Mr.Kotey, Pastors and leaders from all the various Ghanaian Churches with their members, GHANABA vice- President, Mr Fumey and his entire executives, the various Associations members, business men and women in the community, friends and sympathizers from the Belgian community, gathered as early as 8.am in the big Cathedral on the Van Kerckhovenstraat 2060 Antwerp where a memorial service was held for the late 'Mother', who died on 7th August, 2005.

Pastor Koney from the Pentecost Revival Church who led the service praised the late Deaconess and Mother of his church for her dedication to the service of the Lord and the community as a whole. The Pastor quoted a text from the Holy Bible where Lazarus was brought back to life by Jesus Christ as an example and hope to Christians after their death. He stressed that when those who believe in Jesus die, though they are absent from the body but would be present with the Lord. He took this opportunity to appeal to all Ghanaians to lead transparent lives, be law abiding at wherever they reside and God fearing as well.

A tribute read earlier on included a message which congratulated the 'Mother', who in real life lived in Antwerp with her children, the love she showed in the community which was passed on to fellow Ghanaians showed the attraction of such a huge crowd to her burial service.
It took the Pastor and his elders to task in controlling the huge crowd in grieved long queue past the casket in the Cathedral.
Later on it was a police motorcade which led the traffic to Merksem cemetery where she was finally laid to rest.
She would be given a befitting final funeral rites on a date to be announced later.
