FORMAL NOTIFICATION TO THE CONVENTION PEOPLE'S PARTY (CPP) OF MY INTENTION TO SEEK THE FLAGBEARERSHIP OF THE CONVENTION PEOPLE'S PARTY (CPP) IN 2008
Following the April 25, 2007 News reports attributed to Ghana News Agency (Re-published on Ghanaweb.Com) - that the filing of nominations for both the Flagbearership and National Executives of the Convention People's Party (CPP) is set for June, I am humbled and priveleged to [formally] announce my intention to seek the 2008 Flagbearership of the (CPP) - the Political Party of Ghana's first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of Blessed Memory and the undisputable "Pan Africanist Political Party" of a future Continental African Union Government. As a "Man of the People", there is no doubt that I can effectively lead the Party of Osagyefo Dr. Nkrumah to victory, if not a Landslide - in a "Free and Fair Election".
I hereby promise that my Campaign will be a "People's Campaign".
As a matter of fact, it is against my interest to run for the Presidency, but for the (Supreme Interest of the Brave, Peaceful and Good People of Ghana) especially, the Poor; Students; the Youth in general; "Senior Citizens"; the suffering Middle Class - both Men and Women and the "Uncertain Rich" who deserve better under the Convention People's Party (CPP) - after the failed and antagonistic administrations of the NDC and the NPP.
Since I am currently in the United States of America where I plan to meet with several Ghanaians living here, I should be grateful if you could send me a copy of the application form for the 2008 CPP Flagbearership to :
C/O: 3175 South Hoover Street,
PMB # 365, Los Angeles, CA 90007, USA.
In the meantime, my "Kwame A. Boateng Campaign Fund Committee" hereby announces "Humanitarian Plans" to engage in Charity work for the benefit of the poor and the needy - (to help feed poor Children; provide the poor with Clothes, explore the opportunities of providing affordable Housing to the Poor and the "Suffering Middle Class"; establish "Village Libraries" for Rural Folks and help provide "Tools of Democracy" to Freedom-Loving Ghanaians.
Sincerely,
(Signed): "Osagyefo" Kwame Appiah Boateng, ("Kwame Mayor")
2004 CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso Constituency, Kumasi, Ashanti Region and the first Ghanaian born to [symbolically] run for Mayor of Los Angeles.
