London Ghana Sda Church Choir In A Mega Musical Concert

The sun is preparing to give way to the cold weather and event organiser are working around the clock to get their stages ready for perhaps the last show down this year. Between now and the end of October many activities would go on in the Diaspora by Ghanaians.
One of the major activities left up to this time is the much-talked-about International Musical Concert by the London Ghana Seventh-day Adventists Church at the prestigious City Temple in the centre of the capital.
Dubbed “Festival of Praise” the 24th September 2011 event is slated to be one of the most inspiring gospel musical meet in recent times.
It is parading renowned musicians and musical groups. High on the list of artists for the evening is Kwadwo Ampong, who within few years of hitting the limelight has more than six albums to his credit. Two other Adventists Music Stars have already arrived from Ghana to join the Super Star, Alex Acheampong, to provide exciting soul-inspiration, heartwarming, comforting and life-changing music to their audience.
Also featuring are the London Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Singing Band, The Reading Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Youth Choir and other Church Choirs from the city including the Holloway Adventists Church Choir.
Adventists are very much noted for their good music and according to the organisers though predominantly Adventists musical concert, the event will be blended with much more for all to be satisfied.
The event will start at 15.00 hours London time and would last for six hours on that Saturday and indications are that more than 60 percent of the tickets released for the event are gone but organisers explained more would be at the door at just £10 and £5 for adults and children respectively.
The London Ghana Church Choir is acclaimed as one of the world’s great choirs. Since its foundation some 30 years ago, it has occupied a unique position at the forefront of the Ghanaian Diaspora Gospel scene. The group sings from huge repertoire of great and renaissance composers like the legend Osei Boateng of ‘Yesu Ka Wo Ho’ fame.
The choir has performed at many great stages around Europe and they promise to provide listeners more than their monies’ worth.
