MoneyGram International supports ‘Ghana Professionals in Lagos’ in celebrating Ghana’s 61st Independence Anniversary.
This initiative is part of MoneyGram Anglophone Africa Team’s effort in reaching out to clusters of African communities in the Diaspora by supporting specific initiatives while introducing and emphasizing their innovative product and service offerings.
Over the past years, MoneyGram International has hosted the group to an annual cocktail event in celebration of the Independence Anniversary with over 100 persons in attendance.
The 2018 edition was held at the Wine House, Ikoyi Lagos and had in attendance notable members of the association amongst who were Mr. Amandi Hussein -Deputy Consulate Registrar, Lagos, Mr. Sintim Barimah – Trade Officer, Ghana High Consulate, Mr. Patrick Appiah – Regional Director – Anglophone West Africa, MoneyGram International.
Mr. Amandi who represented the Consulate General who was unavoidably absent extended the Consulates continued commitment to the group and the welfare of all Ghanaians in Nigeria.
Mr. Appiah, thanked the group for welcoming MoneyGram’s partnership every year and urged them you use MoneyGram whenever they need to send money. In his words, “Whenever you think of sending money, please remember that MoneyGram is around and you can use MoneyGram.
