NDC North America Expresses condolences over Baah Wiredu’ s death

Members of NDC-North America express our profound suddenness and shock on the news of the death of Hon. Kwadwo Baah Wiredu, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; which broke out last week on Ghanaweb.com.

Throughout his political career, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Wiredu exhibited a high caliber of humility and affability, which made him liked by his colleagues and political opponents alike. He also treated his political opponents with fairness and kindness. He indeed endeared himself to his friends and political opponents not by intimidation, pride or violence, but by strongly defending his positions and respect for the views and positions of others.

Honourable Baah Wiredu has left us, but he leaves a big challenge on us to reexamine our relationships with our colleagues, political opponents and the world around us. He will forever live in our hearts if we emulate the qualities of life he lived for; and treat each other with humility, kindness and tolerance.

We convey our deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family, the NPP members home and abroad, and the entire nation for the loss.
