NPP Canada’s Montreal Chapter Holds New-Year Party

The Montreal Chapter of the NPP Canada International Branch, held its maiden New-Year Party on January 31, 2015.

The occasion was used to celebrate the Montreal Chapter’s rich history and the Canada Branch’s unifying values and to create new energy and vibe, in pursuit of the vibrancy needed to help the NPP achieve an emphatic win in the 2016 Elections.

The occasion was also used to honour members with outstanding contributions to the Chapter and the Canada Branch.

A considerable number of new and old faces turned up for the event, and together with new Chapter Executives, were treated to an evening of laughter, socialization, motivational speeches and sharing of ideas, to build a stronger Montreal Chapter and Canada Branch.

The Chapter’s New Chairman, Nana Osei Agyemang used the occasion to express his sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to make the event a success.

He also reiterated his appreciation for the support the Chapter has been receiving from the Canada Branch as a whole, especially in the areas of technical and strategic support.

Nana Osei Agyemang further stated that the Chapter and the Canada Branch are united for a common purpose; maintaining a viable NPP organization in Montreal and across Canada and, working very hard to ensure victory for the party in the 2016 Elections.

He mentioned a solidarity message he received from the Branch Secretary, signed by the Branch Chairman, Kwame Abrefah, which described great strides being made by the Branch to support the NPP.

Specifically, a significant donation of campaign gear was made recently to the Party by a contingent of Branch Executives, in the presence of Party Leaders Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia, Kwabena Agyapong and others at Nana’s Office, as well as meetings held with these leaders and Chairman Afoko, to strategise on collaborations for the NPP’s success.

Nana Osei Agyemang, who is also a Member of the NPP Canada Executive Committee, called upon like-minded Ghanaians all over the world, to contact their local representatives or leaders, to share ideas and explore progressive and innovative ways of making the NPP attractive to all voters so that Ghana can work again.

He asked for focus and hardwork from all patriots to ensure but not to think that the replacement of the NDC in 2016 by a competent government, is a done deal.
