NPP_New York elects four for top executive positions

NPP elects Muslims for top executive positions*

One of the vibrant chapters in the North America, NPP_New York, has come out strong to elect four Northerners/Muslims for top executive positions. Issah Ballah Saeed was voted for Financial Secretary. Tahiru Ali (also known as T. Ali) won the Treasurer position. Ali Suraji settled on Organizer. Mujeeb Sahanun was also elected for the Youth Organizer. The foursome elected members went unopposed.

This development consolidates on the Danquah-Busia-Dombo foundational roots upon which the party was found and built. Also, it projects the (tribal) all-inclusive makeup of the political party. These newly elected executives have contributed huge amount of resources to the NPP party. These indefatigable personalities (together with other Nasara members) first brought the party’s flagbearer and the running-mate to the Zongo community in the USA: Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia. They handle activities of the party with great care. No other word could describe their selfless services to the party – both home and, here, in the USA. The overflowing energy they collectively bring to the party is just tremendous.

Our newly elected members, far from their evidentiary past performances, didn't disappoint, they made a strongly and a convincing case as to why they surely deserve to continue with their wholehearted and goodwill work for the party on a higher level. The general members receive their interests in serving the party with widely opened arms.

In their acceptance speech, they pledged to do more for the party to make it more attractive in the Zongo communities, and to help the party win the Northerner/Muslim votes in 2016. They will be joining Nasara Coordinator Alhaji Yusif Turaki Kure on the NPP-New York Chapter executive board.
