PRESS RELEASE
Once again the opposition NPP is planning to demonstrate against President Mahama in London. Reminiscent of their forbears who serially demonstrated against Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah's visionary leadership, this new breed of Danquah-Busiaist are not being innovative in their genetically linked exhibition of stupidity at all.
President Mahama is in the UK to attend an anti-corruption summit in which Ghana's sterling performance as captured by the Transparency International recently will serve as a model for other African countries.
The President will also meet with Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway to discuss issues relating to the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
President Mahama's international appeal, vision and clear thought continues to shine at home and abroad. This paves way and opens doors for we in the diaspora hence we urge the president to continue to offer selfless and visionary leadership as he works with all Ghanaians to transform our country.
We look forward to the engagement with the Ghanaian community on Friday in London.
(Signed)
Kwabena Duku President, Federation of Ghanaians in the United Kingdom
