Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo, flag bearer and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2016 elections, will be meeting with Ghanaians in the United Kingdom to interact and share ideas with them on Sunday 28th December 2014 at the Dominion Centre, 9 The Broadway, High Road, Wood Green, London N22 6DS from 6pm to 9pm. Discussion at the town-hall meeting will centre on the state of Ghana’s economy, the current political and social climate, the urgent need to implement electoral reforms and Nana Akufo-Addo’s message of hope for Ghanaians.
Nana Akufo-Addo, who was elected as the flagbearer and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party with an overwhelming 94.7% of the vote by NPP delegates at a nationwide congress on 18th October this year, has begun the campaign to restore progress, dignity and economic and political transformation in Ghana. The nation is on its knees due to the backward policies, rampant corruption, mismanagement of public finances, abuse of state institutions, lack of vision and poor leadership of John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Nana Akufo-Addo is confident that Ghana will definitely work again under the NPP. He calls on all Ghanaians in the UK to join hands with him, irrespective of political affiliation or background, in a national crusade to win political power in order to rescue Ghana from the economic and political mess in which it finds itself under the NDC.
Ghana needs new leadership. Ghana needs Nana Akufo-Addo, who will provide the humble, honest, practical and serious leadership that is needed to develop and transform our country.
