The essence of building a stronger nation requires a person who has new ideas, good vision for the future and leadership qualities to lead the nation. As a result of that we Ghanaians old students association in New York from City College, Lehman college, Fordham University and Pace university are here today to endorse Alan Kyerematen as the next NPP presidential Candidate and next president for our motherland.
Alan has unique new ideas for the nation industrial growth more than any of the other candidates who are trying to become president even though they have no clear vision for the nation. Alan doesn’t believe that global trade will solve the national economic dilemma. In his policy he wants the nation to be self sufficient by using the local product and turning them into economic gain for our Nation. He emphasizes making technology more competitive for the nations industry and education.
According to their president Mr. Osei Poku said on behalf of the Ghanaians old student association that we are all confident and excited about Alan’s candidacy. We are moved by his skills in economics to turn around the nation’s companies, which were abandoned by the NDC administration, important companies such as the Gihoc Pwalugu Tomato factory, the Juapong Textiles Ltd and Vlaco aluminum Ltd at Tema. All these companies were closed but through his dedication he has brought them back into production. This is the kind of economical ambitions leadership the country needs. When we talk about the important issue of integrity, Alan is the most trustworthy candidate, someone who can handle the nation’s economic issues. Alan is the only candidate who has been able to talk about the details of national policies on his campaign platforms which is imperative to all of us. As his predecessor did to invite Ghanaians abroad to come home and turn things around for the nation. We pelage we are also ready to come and help him with our skills and Knowledge which could translate into better management. We believe that Alan is the only candidate who has the ability to infuse energy into the party and the 2008 election. Based on our analysis we warn the NPP delegates of the Akufo Addo candidacy because he is too polarizing a figure to lead the party to the general election. The negative feelings about him will inspire people to the polls just to vote against him said the president of the association. We believe that the majority of NPP supporters privately worry that Akufo Addo’s inability to prosecute Tsati Tsikata shows his weakness to stand tit for tat to beat the NDC in the generation. We believe that our brothers and sisters who are independent voters are enthusiastic about Alan’s candidacy. This stands in is a stark contrast to dislike they have for Akufo Addo.
